firsts

in the past month, our mad lew has had many firsts. everyone said “just wait til he gets x months old (usually 4). you won’t believe how fun it gets.” we had trouble believing that because things such as staring and narrating his life were already such fun. < not being sarcastic … seriously! we actually loved it.
maddy’s first solid food (sort of, ok, not so solid, just from a spoon), first time sitting in the bumbo and first time in the jumpy-thing (< that is the scientifically correct term)

and our trip to our friend’s lakehouse on the 4th of july. maddox got in a pool for the 1st time and tolerated it with a toy til he realized where he was. i think he enjoyed passing out in the stroller most of all.

catching up

sometimes it seems the story of my life that i get behind on things i intend to do. i intend to update this more often …. than i do. oh well. i’ve just added great pics from the last month on our web albums! topics/events of this month have included some great moments:
