Spring (or winter) break

We went in a long spring break trip to … Stone mountain. I really think the kids thought the 30 minute drive was long since we let them watch a show.

Spent the rest of the day with aunt Jess, Daniel and super-uncle reed. Laid back and fun.

Batter up again

First real game. So excited she wouldn’t eat breakfast and got her uniform on all by herself. Even though she hadn’t gotten the baseball pants, she did get the belt so she insisted on wearing it.

A girl gotta have her accessories. This helps explain the video. So as I watched the boys that all went before our 11th hitter doing hilarious things like running out to get the ball they just hit, I found myself thinking, “oh their families will be telling that story the rest of his life,” then we got our own story from her first at bat. First tball practice tonight. Several kids had tears … Not this one! So proud.
